In a matter of heart-breaking days, Kathy has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. Confined to a wheelchair mere months ago, she is now bed ’-ridden, unable to communicate, in grave pain from an arthritic hip … And most dangerous of all … having great difficulty eating.
It is with a heavy heart that we’re moving her to the most advanced care unit in her home and looking at entering her into hospice.
