YOU GOTTA CRACK A LOTTA NUTS

And along the way, I’ve cracked plenty of ‘em, but this is one I’ve cracked every year for seven years, Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker.

This was my first foray into the world without a wig or a hat or a scarf. As you can see, I have sort of a GI Jane mohawk goin’ on. After almost every last little hair on my head fell out from radiation and chemo, the intrepid hair follicles have started to kick out thick salt-and-pepper- colored hair. But I’m not getting too excited … I understand the chemo (cisplatin) I’m currently on is going to make it all fall out again. 

Easy come. Easy go.
